The "Northern Design Bureau" (SPKB) will focus on the production of civilian products in 2025. This was reported by the company following the results of work in the outgoing year.
In 2024, the company joined the Scientific and Production Arctic Cluster of St. Petersburg, which will help to implement proposals for the construction of ships for the Arctic. At the "Neva" exhibition in September 2025, the company will present a supply vessel for the Northern Sea Route, the characteristics of the project are still unknown.
Diversification dictates new conditions to us. Therefore, in the future 2025, the "Northern Design Bureau" will focus on civilian products. At the upcoming "Neva" exhibition in September, it is planned to demonstrate a supply vessel for the Northern Sea Route.
The projects of the "Northern Bureau" are distinguished by modularity - the possibility of flexible changes in capabilities and characteristics to meet the needs of a particular customer. This quality allows the bureau to remain a leader in military-technical cooperation between Russia and various countries in terms of the supply of combat surface ships of various classes.
In 2024, the "Northern Design Bureau", which produces warships, took part in two international exhibitions - "Fleet-2024" and "Army-2024". The key exhibits of the exhibitions were an updated version of the Project 11356 frigate and the Project 22356 multi-purpose frigate.
