The electric vehicle charging station operator Hyper (part of the Rosnano Group) has installed the first ultra-fast charging stations for electric buses in Russia. They have a capacity of 350 kW and are equipped with an innovative dynamic power balancing system and SmartCharge technology.
The pilot project was launched in Krasnoyarsk. The company plans to scale the technology of charging stations for electric buses to other regions of Russia.
Rosnano noted that these solutions will help optimize the charging process of public electric transport and, depending on the pre-planned schedule, regulate the maximum power of the session.
In conditions of sharp temperature changes and extreme frosts, the system provides an effective load on the city's power grid.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "smart" trams are being introduced in Chelyabinsk.
