The Kalashnikov arms concern has presented an exclusive video of the first flight of the KUB-10E guided munition. The drone is designed to engage enemy unarmored military equipment and armored personnel carriers, as well as anti-aircraft and anti-missile defense facilities.
The concern noted that the complex can be used at any time of the day, in any weather conditions, in winds with gusts up to 15 m/s and in the ambient temperature range from -30°C to +40°C.
The flight range and combat power of the new guided munition significantly exceed the performance of previous models in the line. The guidance method is based on specified coordinates, provided by the global navigation satellite system. The KUB-10E is launched from a catapult, with a cruising speed of 100 km/h. The flight altitude range is 100–2500 m.
The Kalashnikov concern has increased the production of UAVs almost 10 times in a year. In general, the KUB-10E drone line is represented by a number of guided munition modifications.
