New development of the Chechen Design Bureau: "Tallamho" is creating a thermal imager to search for UAVs at night

The thermal detector will also help detect saboteurs

Grozny engineers from the "Tallamho" Design Bureau are developing thermal detectors to search for drones in the night sky and enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.

Detectors can be used as a counter-battery stereo system.

According to him, the old methods of electronic intelligence for searching for drones and enemy groups have become irrelevant. Now, Russian soldiers need guidance tools based on thermal radiation. This is especially important at night.

Such detection tools have long existed on the market, but their cost is very high, and components are difficult to find.

With this in mind, the Grozny Design Bureau is looking for alternative options. Engineers plan to create detectors in the form of helmet-mounted monoculars, portable monitors, and in other form factors.
