Specialists from the Kalashnikov concern have refined the перспективную remotely controlled, wire-guided launcher for the Konkurs-M ATGM, designed by enthusiast engineers from the Russian Armed Forces, to a state of operational readiness. Footage of the system has appeared online.

The new system features remotely controlled, wire-guided electromechanical drives for azimuth and elevation control of the transport and launch container (TLC) with a 9Sh119M1 optoelectronic sight and an additional thermal imaging sight with a night-time range of approximately 2-2.5 km.

Video from the sighting modules is displayed on the indicator of a remote computerized ATGM operator terminal, protecting the crew from direct fire from the enemy.

In addition to high noise immunity, the wire channel cannot be detected by means of interferometric sensors of radio and electronic intelligence.
