Footage of the BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicle, common in the Russian army, has appeared online. Engineers have protected it with the latest technologies currently available.
The armored vehicle's hull is covered with mounted spaced armor 688A-sb6-2KP. The "Nakidka" protection kit, with its imitation of artificial vegetation, is responsible for the BMP-3's stealth in the thermal and infrared ranges. Elegant anti-drone visors protect the vehicle and crew from UAV strikes.
The BMP-3 was developed in the second half of the 1980s at the Special Design Bureau of Mechanical Engineering, manufacturer - KMZ. Capacity - three crew members and up to seven paratroopers.
The floating vehicle is armed with a 100 mm caliber cannon with the ability to launch guided missiles and three, coaxial and two bow machine guns of 7.62 mm caliber. Weight - 18.7 tons, highway speed - 70 km/h. It has been in service with the army since 1987.
