Civilian industries in Russia have increased drone production to 40,000 per month. This was announced by Defense Minister Andrei Belousov at the Technical Council of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the "People's Front".
The head of the department praised the new mechanisms for accelerated introduction of equipment and modern weapons developed by the Russian defense industry for the needs of the army.
For FPV drones and UAVs - up to 40 thousand units per month, for electronic warfare and electronic reconnaissance systems - up to 5 thousand units per month. In total, more than 100 thousand products from civilian manufacturers and small design bureaus were purchased.
Belousov also emphasized the widespread use of drones of various types during the Special Military Operation for reconnaissance, transportation of goods and strikes, as well as for conducting combat operations and communications.
