A batch of 2024 Lada Niva Legend vehicles has arrived in Germany through parallel import. The cars are offered in a price range from 20,000 to 22,200 euros, which is equivalent to 2.2–2.4 million rubles. For comparison, in Russia, similar models in the Luxe’24 configuration cost from 1.1 million rubles.
One of the dealers from Horgau (Bavaria) offers a standard version of the Niva Legend with a Euro-5 engine, ABS, airbags, air conditioning, heated seats, and other basic options. A modification prepared for hunters is sold by a dealer from Müncheberg (Brandenburg). The Jagdwagen SUV is equipped with a plastic box instead of rear seats, a net for transporting animals, and an ERA-GLONASS emergency call button.
Cars are imported into Germany as used with mileage up to 100 km to avoid costly certification and the need to comply with the Euro-6 standard. All cars have a two-year warranty from German sellers. Although AvtoVAZ officially left the EU market in 2020 due to tightening environmental regulations, the model remains popular due to its affordability and ease of maintenance.
Earlier, the head of the regional branch of the right-wing German faction AfD, Björn Höcke, arrived at a polling station in Saxony and Thuringia in a Lada Niva. It is likely that the politician may also buy a new Lada.
