The Ministry of Education of Russia stated that teaching children information security should begin from the first grade, especially in the context of the active use of technologies such as e-school.
Vladimir Kiknadze, Deputy Director of the Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Education, Additional Education and Children's Recreation, emphasized the importance of teaching children the basics of information security from the very beginning, when they start using technological systems independently.
He suggested that until children master basic online protection skills, they should not work with e-school. Kiknadze also raised the issue of reducing live communication, which is increasingly being replaced by online interaction. He noted that children he spoke with in children's camps express a desire to return to real books and magazines, and also want more communication with their parents.
