AvtoVAZ has ramped up production of the latest Lada Iskra: rare footage from the factory

Several cars roll off the assembly line every day

Automotive manufacturer AvtoVAZ has rapidly increased conveyor production of the new Lada Iskra family of cars. A sufficiently large number of cars of this model have already been assembled in test mode, with camouflage covering the front and rear of the cars parked in the parking lot.

According to the latest data, at AvtoVAZ, the production of Lada Iskra cars is 95% ready for the serial assembly stage. Several cars roll off the assembly line every day.

It is known that the lineup, which will replace the Granta model from the market, will include a station wagon, a sedan, and a high-riding station wagon in the Cross version.

Lada Iskra received a basic 90 hp 1.6-liter engine with a five-speed manual gearbox. The version with a 106 hp 1.6-liter engine will be equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission. Also, one of the Iskra configurations will receive a 1.6-liter engine and a CVT.
