The Saratov National Research University named after N.G. Chernyshevsky (SGU) presented a new model for accurate planning of processes in time, taking into account possible outcomes. This was reported in the press service of the university.
The developed algorithm has a tree-like structure. This makes it possible to make corrections and adapt the control action depending on the probabilities of various scenarios.
The new model is based on the concept of quantum graphs. They allow the use of differential equations to model processes.
The fundamental difference between a temporal graph and a spatial network is the interpretation of edges as time intervals. At the same time, each internal vertex of such a graph is a branching point of the process, giving several different scenarios for its further course.
It is expected that the new model will find application in the development of neural networks and artificial intelligence, where optimal control under uncertainty plays a key role.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that a new way of measuring time was created in Rostov.
