Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin told IA "TASS" on the sidelines of the United Russia congress that the radial Troitskaya line will receive several more working stations by 2025.
The official noted that, "of course", Muscovites should expect the opening of several new stations before the New Year.
We will reach Kommunarka with the Troitskaya line. Four more stations [will be opened].
The Troitskaya metro line is the sixteenth line of the Moscow Metro. It will become one of the longest in the capital, and the longest radius extending beyond the Moscow Ring Road. It has 17 stations and more than 43 km of tracks.
The first four stations of the Troitskaya line — "Novatorskaya", "University of Friendship of Peoples", "General Tyulenev" and "Tyutchevskaya" — opened in early September for the City Day. Every working day, the first four stations of the emerald line transport over 30 thousand people.
