The Troitskaya metro line is the sixteenth line of the Moscow Metro. It will become one of the longest in the capital, and the longest radius extending beyond the Moscow Ring Road. It has 17 stations and more than 43 km of tracks.

The first four stations of the Troitskaya line — Novatorskaya, University of Friendship of Peoples, General Tyuleneva, and Tyutchevskaya — opened in early September for City Day. Every working day, the first four stations of the emerald line carry over 30 thousand people.
