It is difficult for me to talk about the effectiveness of PVN. I don’t have such statistics. But purely from subjective feelings, their effectiveness at airfields is close to zero. The conditional "Pantsirs", their number, serviceability and level of training of calculations decide.
The former military pilot clarified that the PVN should have a clock, binoculars, a laser rangefinder, an optical tube, a course tablet with a protractor, a compass, a UAV directory and other necessary things.
