The Ministry of Digital Development told about the services popular among Russians, which they choose on the "Gosuslugi" portal. Today, this most famous digital project in Russia celebrated its 15th anniversary since its launch. As the department recalled, its history began as an information portal, on which a personal account and the first twenty services appeared over time. Now "Gosuslugi" provides 1.6 thousand services related to all spheres of life of a citizen of Russia from his birth to his death.
"Gosuslugi" is already used by 112 million people. Every day they submit 2 million applications and ask 1.5 million questions to the digital assistant of the Robot Max service.
Over the past fifteen years, according to the Ministry of Digital Development, Russians, through "Gosuslugi", most often issued, saving time on trips to government agencies, more than ten documents and services. These include:
- more than 2.3 million marriage applications;
- online birth registration for 670 thousand children;
- more than 32 million applications for a single allowance;
- more than 180 million appointments to a doctor;
- almost 60 million electronic compulsory medical insurance policies;
- 2.3 million entries in the 1st grade;
- more than 9 million applications to universities;
- 33 million extracts from the USRN;
- 91.6 million personal accounts of voters;
- more than 17 million signed documents in Gosklyuch;
- more than 10 million Pushkin cards;
- more than 623 million payments.
Also, 2 billion consultations were provided through Robot Max and 18.7 million appeals were considered through the Feedback Platform.
"Gosuslugi" now contains almost all information about Russians, and therefore fraudsters often try to gain access to it. To improve security and enhance the protection of personal data, logging into "Gosuslugi" since the fall of 2023 is possible only with two-factor authentication.
But this does not stop the attackers. They create fake "Gosuslugi" websites and come up with multi-stage complex systems to get the coveted access code from too trusting or inattentive Russians.d
Lawyers and cybersecurity experts note: in modern conditions, conversations with strangers on the phone should be stopped, even if the interlocutors introduce themselves as police officers, special services, banks or post offices, and ask to urgently perform some actions. You can't talk to strangers via video link either, no matter who the interlocutor is. After such a conversation with you, fraudsters will be able to pass biometric identification in the bank instead of you, and a neural network based on your voice will help them issue a million-dollar loan to you.
