Innovative ceramic protection for industrial equipment developed in Russia

It protects equipment from mechanical damage

The "Tekhnologiya" enterprise named after Romashin (part of Rostec) has imported-substituted high-strength corundum ceramics. The tiles created on its basis protect equipment from mechanical damage and increase its wear resistance.

The solution will help provide the industry with consumable ceramic products that are in demand in the metallurgical and other high-tech areas. "Tekhnologiya" has already implemented the development and confirmed its economic efficiency.

In particular, the trouble-free resource of a mill for grinding glass, equipped with protective tiles made of corundum material, has tripled. The duration of the production cycle has also been reduced by more than 35%, and the number of grindings in a non-stop cycle has increased from 50 to 600.

The solution includes the creation of a material from corundum ceramics based on domestic raw materials and the technology for producing protective tiles from it.
