JSC "United Engine Corporation" (ODK, part of Rostec) will produce 5 GPA-16 gas pumping units with a total capacity of 80 MW. The equipment will be installed at the compressor stations of the Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok gas pipeline. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.

As explained in the press service, gas pumping units are used as part of the first interregional gas transportation system in the East of Russia, which ensures the transportation of gas from the Sakhalin shelf to consumers in the Khabarovsk and Primorsky Territories.
In 2025, ODK plans to supply 2 more units, and in 2026 - 3. The equipment will help gasify the regions of the Far East. Currently, more than 100 GPA-16 units are operating in Russia, including on the Power of Siberia gas pipeline.
