Mixed electronic warfare brigades of the Russian Armed Forces have begun to receive promising automated control systems RB-109A "Bylina". They aggregate a wide range of electronic warfare systems of various purposes operating in an impressive range of waves (from decimeter L to millimeter Ka) into a single multi-band "jamming contour".
Their list includes: "Krasukha-2O", "Krasukha-S4", R-330Zh "Zhitel", R-330M1P "Diabazol", "Palantin", and so on.
The RB-109A system aggregates general information about active, direction-finding radio-emitting means of the enemy in a vast area of the line of combat contact, both near the front line and at an operational depth of up to 800 km.
Then the complex analyzes their frequency parameters of operation and carries out target distribution between electronic warfare systems in accordance with the required frequency ranges of their operation. Thus, the productivity and efficiency of the electronic warfare contour on the front will increase several times.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the unique tanker "Engineer-Admiral Kotov" was launched in Russia.
