Уникальные кованые ретро-диски создали для «Волги»

Their design was copied from the factory wheel caps that were installed on the GAZ-31029

In Tolyatti, the company Slik presented a new model — forged wheels in retro style, created for the legendary Soviet "Volga". It is not yet known whether they will be mass-produced. This set was made to individual order.

Slik made forged wheels for the Volga, so that this beauty would not just ride, but attract attention at every corner. Technology, style and power — all this is now in every wheel.

The design of the new wheels was developed at the request of the client and repeats the design of the factory caps that were installed on GAZ-31029 cars.

According to the developers, at first glance it becomes obvious that this is not just a stylish disc, but a real work of art. It not only looks great, but is also able to withstand any tests that await on the road.

The cost of the kit is not disclosed, but Slik is ready to produce it again if a customer is found. Theoretically, discs with these parameters may also be suitable for some other models.

In September, designer Nikolai Pronin developed a project for a new "Volga", which harmoniously intertwined the classic features of the legendary GAZ models. In his creation, he retained the key elements inherent in GAZ-21 and GAZ-3111, but proposed a rear-wheel drive layout that corresponds to modern cars, such as the BMW 3-Series G20.

Earlier www1.ru reported that a rare "Volga" of "eggplant" color with a mileage of only 225 kilometers was put up for sale in the Moscow region. The seller claims that the 2001 car has undergone a complete pre-sale preparation. They wanted to get 1.21 million rubles for the "time capsule".
