Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Russian Kh-101 missile an analogue of the Western Storm Shadow, SCALP, and Taurus complexes. The head of state emphasized that the domestic system still has a longer range.
Putin noted that the warhead of the air-launched Storm Shadow missile, the German Taurus, and the French SCALP is about 450 kg in TNT equivalent with a range of 600 km.
The Kh-101 air-launched missile has a comparable warhead in terms of power, but significantly exceeds each of the European-made systems in range.
Earlier www1.ru reported that the Russian "Iskander" for the first time destroyed the OTRK "Grom" on the front, footage of a precise hit appeared.
