The man purchased the crossover in 2021 for 11 million rubles. The full configuration included front seat back ventilation, a convenient option for hot weather. However, the ventilation system did not work properly. The fan made extraneous noises.
The owner decided to replace the defective car through the court. The court ordered the German automaker to replace the car and, before that, to pay the owner a penalty of 6.5 million rubles per month. In 2022, the company left the Russian market without fulfilling the court decision. To date, the amount payable is about 300 million rubles.
