Objective footage has emerged of the operation of the calculation of the Tula 300-mm 9K58 Smerch MLRS using 9M55K guided missiles with fragmentation warhead elements.
They include 25,920 ready-made light fragments to defeat infantry in protective equipment, 6,912 heavy fragments to defeat lightly armored enemy vehicles.
The Smerch ammunition also includes advanced 300-mm 9M525 guided missiles with higher impulse solid propellant rocket engines and an increased range of up to 90 km.
