«Как по рельсам»: движение беспилотников по ЦКАД запустят в I квартале 2025 года

Currently, unmanned trucks are experimentally transporting goods along the M-11 Neva highway

Testing of the digital model of the Central Ring Road (Moscow Ring Road) is scheduled to be completed in early 2025. After that, unmanned trucks will be able to travel along the highway, said Dmitry Bakanov, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation.

We now have a prototype of a digital twin on the Moscow Ring Road, which was developed by the Telematics group of companies. It is currently being tested by both Kamaz, Avtotech, and Yandex. And we will complete this work in the first quarter. And just like on rails, unmanned vehicles will also travel along the Moscow Ring Road using a digital twin.

In August 2024, the Russian authorities launched an experimental legal regime on sections of the M-12 and Moscow Ring Road. This made it possible to start testing unmanned cargo transportation.

Currently, testing is underway on the M-11 Neva highway for the transportation of goods using autonomous trucks.

In the summer of 2023, unmanned trucks belonging to Kamaz and Sberavtotek began to appear on the roads as part of an experiment. These vehicles are used for commercial transportation. To date, these cars have already traveled more than 3 million kilometers.

The high rate of development indicates that unmanned transportation is of interest to business, said Polina Davydova, director of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association.

Currently, including at the site of the Digital Transport and Logistics Association, discussions are underway with business representatives about possible participation in transportation on the Central Ring Road (Moscow Ring Road). Contracts are planned to be concluded.

Earlier, the KamAZ leasing company transferred six of the twelve KAMAZ-54901 unmanned tractors to JSC National Carrier. These vehicles will be used to transport goods between logistics terminals in Moscow and St. Petersburg along the M-11 highway as part of the federal project "Unmanned Logistics Corridors".
