Tourist Takes Photo of Air Koryo's Il-76

American portal 38North has published a photo taken by a tourist at Sunan Airport in Pyongyang. It depicts a Russian heavy military transport aircraft, the Il-76, which, according to Western media, is part of North Korea's airborne early warning and control (AEW&C) aircraft project.

The person who took the picture was about half a kilometer away from the Il-76. However, the photo shows that some kind of structure is installed on the aircraft. It looks like a radar pedestal, which is used in AWACS aircraft.
