Demand for used cars in Russia up to three years old increased by almost 20% in the first two months of autumn 2024, according to a study by Avito Auto. The average price of such cars during this period exceeded 2.6 million rubles.
Analysis of data on offers, prices, and demand for used cars up to three years old shows that in the two months of autumn, demand for them increased by 19.9%, reaching an average price of 2.65 million rubles.
LADA became the leader both in terms of share in total demand and in terms of the number of offers. Its share in demand was 23.2%, and in the number of sales ads — 18.7%. In addition, the brand demonstrated the largest increase in demand, which increased by more than 28%.
Among the most popular models in the used car market were three models from LADA. The leader in demand was LADA Granta, which occupied 8.5% of the market, followed by LADA Niva Legend (5.1%) and LADA Vesta (4.9%).
The top 5 also included Toyota Camry (3.7%) and Hyundai Solaris (2.4%). At the same time, the largest increase in demand compared to last year was demonstrated by LADA Niva Legend, whose number of requests increased by 70.4%.
