Sarmat can carry from 15 warheads, depending on their power. The missile is designed to use Avangard hypersonic guided warheads. The estimated speed of entering orbit is up to 7000 m/s, the speed when striking is up to 3415 m/s.
Avangard is a munition that has not yet been detected by any existing radar station of the enemy. It will not be shot down by known anti-missile and anti-aircraft defense systems.
The ICBM is 35.5 m long, 3 m in diameter, the launch weight is 208.1 t, the payload weight is 10 t, the maximum flight range is 18,000 km.
