FSMTC: Russia Begins Negotiations on Foreign Supplies of Su-35S

Russia has begun negotiations on foreign supplies of fourth-generation multirole Su-35 fighters. This was announced by Mikhail Babich, Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC) of Russia.

According to him, the Su-35 fighters have demonstrated their effectiveness in real combat.

Discussions are already underway with a number of partners. We are ready to discuss possible options for cooperation on this issue with the Chinese side as well.

The Su-35 (NATO codification: Flanker-E+) is a Russian multirole fighter with a controlled thrust vector of the 4++ generation. It has the ability to use the entire range of advanced and existing models of air-to-surface and air-to-air aviation weapons, including high-precision ones. The main armament of the Su-35S is a 30-millimeter GSh-30-1 aircraft cannon, Kh-31, Kh-35U anti-ship missiles, and short, medium, and long-range air-to-air missiles.
