Sales of "Moskvich" cars in Russia increased by 93% in the first nine months of this year, amounting to almost 15 thousand units. According to "Autostat Info", 14,775 "Moskvich" cars were sold, which is significantly more compared to last year's 7,651 cars.
Of the total sales volume, almost a third, namely 4,892 cars, were sold in Moscow, which significantly exceeds last year's result, when only 1,888 sales were recorded.
The main part of sales is the "Moskvich 3" model, sales of which reached 12,283 units, which is 65% more than in the same period last year (7,363 units). There is also an increase in sales of electric vehicles: "Moskvich 3E" increased from 288 to 1,078 cars over the same period. In addition, 1,414 "Moskvich 6" sedans were sold in the first three quarters of this year.
