Plane lands at Vostochny Cosmodrome airport for the first time

Roscosmos CEO inspects construction progress of new airport for space needs

The Vostochny Cosmodrome airport has received its first aircraft with Roscosmos CEO Yuri Borisov on board.

The flight was performed on a Tu-204-300 aircraft. Borisov inspected the construction progress of the airport complex, which will allow receiving components of launch vehicles, spacecraft, upper stages, and other important cargo for the needs of the cosmodrome.
