Ракета-носитель «Союз» в ночь на воскресенье выведет на орбиту два иранских спутника

Два спутника будут запущены 5 ноября

The Soyuz carrier rocket will successfully launch two Iranian satellites, Kowsar and Hadhad, into orbit on November 5, according to Iranian Ambassador to Moscow, Kazem Jalali.

The launch is scheduled for 2:48 AM Tehran time. According to him, this launch will be an important step in the development of scientific and technological cooperation between Iran and Russia.

The satellites, developed and built by Omid Faza Company, will be placed into a 500-kilometer orbit, which, according to Jalali, will help Iran move towards involving the private sector in space activities. This event marks another stage in the expansion of Iranian space programs, which includes a plan to launch three more remote sensing satellites by the end of March 2025. These satellites will operate in the field of monitoring and management in situations related to natural disasters, which will significantly increase the effectiveness of emergency response, especially in regions with damaged ground infrastructure.

In addition, in the current calendar year, which runs from March 20, 2024, to March 20, 2025, Iran plans to complete the creation of the second prototype of the Pars-1 satellite and prepare the Nahid-2 and Saman satellites for launch.
