The cost of owning a LADA Vesta for 5 years exceeds the price of the car itself

Main expense items: insurance, depreciation and fuel costs

Owning a LADA Vesta sedan will cost 1.61 million rubles over five years, according to the NAPI agency. These expenses include insurance (OSAGO and comprehensive), replacement and purchase of tires, fuel costs based on average consumption, maintenance, repairs, as well as taxes and fees. A significant part of this amount is the loss of value: over five years, the car will lose about 665 thousand rubles.

Annual expenses will amount to 322.3 thousand rubles, and monthly expenses - 26.8 thousand rubles. Converted to a kilometer of mileage with an average operation of 15 thousand km per year, the costs will be about 21.48 rubles. The basis for the calculations was the new LADA Vesta in the Comfort’24 configuration with an automatic transmission, costing 1,575,000 rubles at the manufacturer’s price list.

In October, sales of LADA Vesta with improved equipment started in Russia. The new version adds course stability systems (ESC), side airbags, three-stage heated front seats, a rear-view camera, electric folding mirrors, rain and light sensors and other comfort elements.
