Vityaz Company Launches Mass Production of "Mangals" for Armored Vehicles

The Vityaz machine-building company (part of the Uralvagonzavod concern of the Rostec state corporation) has rapidly established production of mesh screens to protect armored vehicles from unmanned aerial vehicles.

The company noted that the production of "false roofs" to protect armored vehicles was mastered "from scratch" in the shortest possible time. Starting with the production of anti-drone screens for the T-72 tank, the company acquired additional competencies.

The basis of the developed production at the enterprise was the prospect of creating "mangals" for a whole range of heavy armored vehicles with the possibility of manufacturing anti-drone protection for various types of military equipment.

Rostec noted that the Russian experience of equipping military equipment with "mangals", which was initially laughed at in the West, eventually turned out to be very much in demand when it became clear that the vehicles were very vulnerable to the means of destruction of the Russian Armed Forces.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that Russia will increase production of Kub kamikaze drones. They have proven themselves well on the front line.
