The "Moskvich" brand has dropped out of the top 10 best-selling car brands in Russia, according to data from the "Autostat" agency for the last week of October 2024.
From October 21 to 27, only 605 "Moskvich" cars were sold, which allowed it to take 11th place in the ranking. The brand was surpassed by the Chinese premium brand Exeed, which sold 609 cars, the gap was only 4 cars.
LADA remains the sales leader with a result of 8758 cars. Haval is in second place with 4269 cars sold, followed by Geely — 3319, Chery — 2818 and Changan — 1904. The top ten also included Belgee with 934 cars, Jetour (782), Toyota (753) and Omoda (738).
Thus, against the background of Chinese brands that are actively occupying the market, "Moskvich" could not become a sales hit.
