The Russian army will receive the latest bi-caliber multiple launch rocket system "Rebirth". It is designed to destroy fortifications and enemy manpower.
The key technical advantage of this system is the bi-caliber configuration of two cassette modules. The MLRS is capable of firing a salvo of up to 25 122-mm rockets with a range of up to 15 km, as well as nine 220-mm unguided rockets from the 9K57 Uragan MLRS ammunition with a range of up to 35 km.
Thus, one mobile launcher can simultaneously hit targets in the enemy's deep rear and in the near zone of combat contact, which is the main advantage of bi-caliber systems.
The speed of modular-package reloading will be about five minutes. The presence of the advanced fire control automation system "Kapustnik B" will ensure that the installation is brought into combat position in just 45 seconds.
Earlier www1.ru reported that Russia will increase production of Kub kamikaze drones. They have proven themselves well on the front line.
