Roscosmos engineers will soon begin preparing the Fregat upper stage for the launch of spacecraft in November. It was delivered to the Vostochny Cosmodrome, according to the Roscosmos press service.
Fregat will deliver the Ionosfera-M No. 1-2 spacecraft into Earth orbit, which are used in the Ionozond project, a complex for monitoring the geophysical environment. Their launch will be carried out using the Soyuz-2.1b launch vehicle. The entire launch process will be carried out autonomously, without intervention from Earth.
Note that earlier Roscosmos engineers refueled Fregat with fuel and compressed gases. It was produced at the Lavochkin Research and Production Association.
