The control channel of the light multi-purpose missile "Product 305" has never been suppressed by enemy electronic warfare equipment during the entire period of use on the front line, the projectile always hits the target. This was stated in Rostec.
"Product 305" provides high accuracy in hitting targets, regardless of the distance of their location within the missile's range. Deviation from the line of sight is no more than two meters.
In addition, the LMUR can be used in different modes. In telecontrol mode, it is launched by coordinates - it flies in inertial mode, and then, when approaching the target, the homing head is activated, the image from which is transmitted to the operator's screen.
The "fire-and-forget" mode allows the homing system to capture the target while it is still on the helicopter pylon, after which the missile ammunition operates autonomously.
"The Product 305 missile has proven to be one of the most successful universal types of guided weapons for army aviation. One of the important features of the missile is a high degree of protection against interference and electronic warfare equipment. To date, no cases of suppression of the LMUR control channel have been recorded in combat conditions.
Earlier www1.ru reported that "Product 305" has been modernized. Now the missile flies a distance of more than 20 km.
