Double-Decker Trains Now Run to All Resort Cities in Southern Russia

Novorossiysk became the latest city to double its railway passenger traffic

According to Russian Railways, the Moscow-Novorossiysk double-decker train has already started its journeys from the Kazan station since October 14. Novorossiysk was the last resort city in the south of the country that did not have trains with an increased number of seats for passengers.

The train includes compartment and sleeping cars with air conditioning, bio-toilets, individual sockets and other amenities. It departs daily from Moscow at 10:00 am and arrives in Novorossiysk the next day at 13:02. In the opposite direction, the train leaves at 16:55 and arrives in Moscow the next day at 21:05.

The journey time will be approximately 27-28 hours, with several stops along the way in Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, and several other cities and stopping points.
