He noted that although some may have such intentions, AvtoVAZ certainly does not. Kostromin also mentioned that the classic "Niva" continues to be in short supply, which indicates a high demand for this model.

From 2025, the Legend and Niva Travel cars will feature a new 1.8-liter engine. At the same time, Kostromin emphasized that the main task for the company is to preserve the unique characteristics of the legendary SUV. He also announced plans to double the production of Niva Bronto, as this model is in active demand. In addition to this, the release of Niva Sport is expected, but this car will be a niche product.
