With a domestic GTD-110M turbine: Rostec has commissioned the "Udarnaya" TPP in the Kuban region

Power plants of this class will replace foreign counterparts

Technopromexport Company (part of Rostec Group) has completed the construction of the "Udarnaya" TPP in the Krasnodar Territory. All three units have been commissioned and are supplying electricity. This was reported by the press service of the state corporation.

The new TPP will provide over 10% of the Krasnodar Territory's electricity needs - up to 4 billion kWh per year. The project will improve the reliability of power supply in the South of Russia.

The third power unit of the station is equipped for the first time with a large-capacity gas turbine GTD-110M of domestic design.

Previously, power plants of this class were supplied from abroad. Therefore, today's event is doubly significant for the domestic energy sector.
Sergey Chemezov, head of Rostec Group

The capacity of the "Udarnaya" power plant is 560 MW. It will generate electricity for industrial enterprises and the housing and communal sector.
