JSC "SRI Scale", part of JSC "Concern "Avtomatika" of the Rostec State Corporation, presented its protected smartphone for the Russian market called TrustPhone at the Moscow conference "Aurora. Own Conference".
TrustPhone is positioned as a Russian smartphone with a special security mode. The device looks like a regular modern mid-size smartphone. However, the developers took maximum care of user privacy and security and made the device ready for any eventuality.
It has two SIM cards and two operating systems: Android for ordinary users and "Aurora" on the AYYA T1 platform for corporate clients. The smartphone has an eight-core RockChip rk3588s processor, powerful external and front cameras with 48 and 13 MP, 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of permanent memory. But the greatest interest is aroused by the method of ensuring security through hardware disconnection of all vulnerable places of the smartphone that can be used to spy on its owner and transfer data about him to third parties. That is, TrustPhone provides hardware disconnection of cameras, speakers, modem, navigation and other sensors.
TrustPhone is already included in the TORP register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, which proves its exclusively Russian origin. The smartphone software is in the EDRP register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade. All this allows the device to be used to provide secure communications for government employees, officials and employees of large state corporations.
