An unusual KAMAZ-54901 was caught on camera in Naberezhnye Chelny at an exhibition dedicated to the Day of Mechanical Engineer. It was included in the exposition of the KORIB service center, which is engaged in the overhaul and refinement of KAMAZ PJSC products.
Visually, this variation of the KAMAZ K5 has an unusual gray-green cab color, and you can also see an anti-chrome package. It is unknown whether there are any changes in the interior trim and under the hood. KAMAZ PJSC and KORIB have not yet provided detailed information on how the limited KAMAZ-54901 differs from the usual flagship import-substituted version.
It is also unknown how much this novelty costs. In the standard configuration, the new KAMAZ-54901 can be found in dealerships at a price of 7.5 to 8.2 million rubles.
KAMAZ-54901 is a semi-trailer truck designed for long-distance transportation, which entered the market five years ago. Since February 2023, KAMAZ has been producing a version of this car on a new domestic component base.
It received a new KAMAZ-910.52-460 engine of the Euro-5 class with a capacity of 482 hp and a service life of up to 1.5 million km. The truck has a modern and spacious cab with two sleeping places and a flat floor, which provides an increased level of comfort for the driver's work and rest.
