Transmashholding (TMH) will create a modular platform for metro trains. This will allow the formation of a basic train core and ensure variability in the execution of a number of components. This new approach will be implemented in future generations of metro cars from TMH.
Currently, the modular approach is applied to a number of components, including the possibility of producing cars for the 1435 mm gauge, which is used in the subways of many countries. This ensures flexibility and adaptability to various standards and requirements of the international market.
Our technical policy is to use stainless steel for safety, maintainability, and economic reasons. If it is necessary to manufacture a car with an aluminum body, a fundamentally new development will be carried out.
The project is planned to be fully implemented in 2028-2030.
Earlier, www1.ru reported that TMH presented a model of a train with a new design.
