A unified center for the production of unmanned boats (BEC) will appear on the basis of the military-industrial holding "Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant" (KMZ). This was reported by the holding's press service.
According to Mikhail Danilenko, Managing Director of the holding, domestic manufacturers have reached an agreement on creating a unified industrial site for the production of BECs on the basis of KMZ (which produces boats for security forces).
The holding is turning into a Russian center for the mass production of hulls and engines of boats with the assembly of the electronic part in the interests of security agencies.
