American F-16 fighters are significantly inferior in their characteristics to the Russian fourth-generation Su-35. This conclusion was reached by military expert Dmitry Kornev.
He noted that the domestic R-37M missiles in service with the Su-35S can hit F-16s at a distance of up to 300 km, compared to the 120 km range of American AMRAAM missiles. And in a close air combat with Su aircraft with a large supply and maneuverable short-range missiles, it will be very difficult for the American F-16 to fight.
The F-16 cannot even be compared in terms of combat capabilities with the Russian Su-35S, of which there are more than 100 units in the Russian Aerospace Forces today. Currently, in terms of air combat capabilities, it is one of the most advanced in the world.
