Надежный щит неба России: Медведев осмотрел системы поражения БПЛА

Among the presented vehicles were the "Typhoon-Air Defense", "Derivation", and improved ZU-23 installations

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev was presented with effective domestic systems for engaging small-sized drones. He inspected the complexes at the Kapustin Yar training ground in the Astrakhan region.

In particular, the effectiveness of such vehicles as improved ZU-23 installations, "Derivation", and "Typhoon-Air Defense" was demonstrated. At the training ground, they destroyed mock drone targets.

It is especially important that the echeloned air defense system is deployed in the optimal time frame. But most importantly, it must reliably protect the most important elements of civil and military infrastructure. We have everything for this.
Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation

Earlier, a new model of artillery spotting drone "Albatross M5" was spotted on the front line. It will also be useful for reconnaissance in the enemy's deep rear.
