Tesla 3 Price: AvtoVAZ Hopes to Sell at Least 200 New LADA e-Largus Electric Vehicles

Main demand is expected from government agencies and companies

AvtoVAZ launched the production of new Lada e-Largus electric vehicles on September 25. The company hopes to sell at least 100–200 cars by the end of 2024. However, experts believe that the main buyer will be state-owned companies and large businesses, as the price of the car is too high for private individuals. The basic configuration of the e-Largus costs almost 4 million rubles, which is higher than the average cost of a Tesla Model 3 imported from the USA.

Forecasts for sales volume in 2025 vary: according to an optimistic scenario, up to 2 thousand cars can be sold, but other experts expect more modest figures — from 200 to 600 units. The main demand is expected from corporate and government structures interested in the development of environmentally friendly transport, especially if benefits for electric vehicles are maintained.

e-Largus electric vehicles are available in passenger and commercial versions, with a range of 320 to 420 km. However, experts call the high cost and insufficiently developed charging infrastructure the main deterrents to the growth in demand for this car, especially from private individuals.
