Wildberries to introduce "deepfakes" into its operations

Artificial intelligence will be used to create product photos

Wildberries is actively implementing neural networks into its operations. This was announced at the "Digital Transportation — 2024" forum by Russia's wealthiest woman, Wildberries founder and head of RVB LLC, Tatyana Kim (Bakalchuk), making her first appearance under her maiden name.

We are currently testing more photos. It will be impossible to tell who is in the photo – a model or artificial intelligence.

New technologies are used to automate company processes, including forecasting.

Our ultimate goal is to make deliveries, if not by teleportation yet, then as quickly and efficiently as possible. To have artificial intelligence suggest what a person wants: chicken or fish. We strive to bring as much benefit as possible to our customers and sellers. Suggesting to the former what they need to buy, and to the latter — what they need to sell.

Deepfake is an image synthesis technique based on artificial intelligence.
