Replacing Mercedes and BMW: Moscow police purchased Russian-assembled Kia Stinger

Law enforcement officers managed to acquire all-wheel drive cars of Kaliningrad assembly from the latest batches

Moscow police purchased Kia Stinger for motorcades. The vehicle fleet of the Center for Special Purposes in the field of road safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs has at least nine Kia Stinger cars in the maximum GT-Line configuration. Such cars were produced in 2022 and are equipped with all-wheel drive.

Kia Stingers assembled in Kaliningrad from the latest batches became available to law enforcement officers. According to Motor, they replaced Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 and BMW 5-Series F10.

At the beginning of 2022, the cost of the Kia Stinger in the GT-Line configuration, which is considered one of the top ones, was approximately 3.5 million rubles. The car is equipped with 19-inch alloy wheels, a panoramic roof, a projection display, and all-round cameras. The car has power windows for all doors, heated front seats, ventilation, as well as rain and light sensors. The interior is leather.

Earlier www1.ru reported that an auction was held in Bashkiria for the sale of cars arrested for debts by the customs service. The most expensive car was a 2019 Kia K900, the starting price for which will be 3,833,000. A 2018 Kia Stinger was also offered for purchase for 2,889,100 rubles.
