43% More: STM Plans to Increase Shunting Locomotive Deliveries in 2024

70 Units of Equipment Will Be Delivered to Customers

The first-half report of Sinara – Transport Machines (STM) included information on the increase in deliveries of shunting locomotives in 2024. It is planned to transfer 70 units of equipment to customers. This figure is 43% higher than last year, when 49 locomotives were sold.

The main deliveries of equipment are expected in the second half of the year, as 22 machines were delivered in the first half.

Currently, the TEM9 and TEM14 models dominate the STM line of shunting locomotives. Serial production of small two-axle TGMK2 locomotives has also begun. In February of this year, STM renewed the certificate for the serial production of TEM10.12:15 locomotives.

Earlier, www1.ru reported that BMZ sent 148 locomotives to customers.
