In 2025, the project for the movement of fully unmanned trucks will be expanded to the Central Ring Road (A-113), and in 2026 to the M-12 highway. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Roman Starovoit.
The launch of unmanned trucks on the M-11 highway turned out to be successful, we plan to expand the geography to the A-113 in 2025 and the M-12 in 2026. We are carrying out the digitalization of transport at the level of the best global trends and technologies using domestic digital solutions in order to fulfill our mission — to create the most efficient transport system in the world to increase the competitiveness of the economy and the quality of life in our country.
The head of the department added that the National Digital Transport and Logistics Platform launched in Russia will reduce business expenses by 168.4 billion rubles and "whiten" up to 20% of the "gray" sector.
Earlier on Monday, unmanned trucks were launched along the entire M-11 highway. The start via video link from the capital's Digital Transportation forum was given by Deputy Prime Minister Vitaly Savelyev.
