Aeroflot CEO Alexandrovsky: I would like passengers to be able to use this technology for free

Russian airline Aeroflot is interested in the appearance of free Wi-Fi on airplanes. This was announced by Sergey Alexandrovsky, General Director of the Aeroflot Group, on the sidelines of the International Digital Transportation Forum in Moscow.

According to him, the Ministry of Digital Development did not rule out that free internet could appear on board aircraft as early as 2027 or 2028.

The CEO of the group added that over the past two years, Aeroflot has increased the share of expenses for the development of domestic software from 33 to 95%.
